MacWorld in January…rumor of an Apple partnership coming
Keep in mind this is not a rumor site in anyway, but if big news comes up we will talk about it. MacRumors is reporting that Steve Jobs will be announcing a partnership at the MacWorld Expo in January. Now the question is who is the partnership with?
Three things come to mind:
- A partnership with the struggling XM/Sirius, in my opinion it’s a much needed app for the iPhone.
- A partnership with NBC to bring Hulu.com to the iPhone like they did with YouTube.
- A new carrier like Sprint or Verizon

AOL haters rejoice, AOL radio for the iPhone and iPod Touch Rocks

One of the better apps for the iPhone and iPod Touch believe it or not was created by AOL. No really I’m serious. The AOL radio for iPhone gives you over 200 stations in 25 different genres. Now the competiton for online radio is pretty tough for the iPhone with Pandora and Last.fm; but if your a talk radio junkie as I am and also like different genres of music then AOL radio is a good choice. The App is free and really eliminated the need for satelite radio services such as Sirius and XM.
- Save your favorite stations for easy access at a later date.
- The App automatically detects your location with the iPhones GPS and provides the nearest CBS Radio station, along with a list of the rest of the stations in your town.
- Locate the songs playing on iTunes and purchase them.
- Album art and artist information displays on the screen
I really enjoy this application, and give it an iPhone Application 4 thumbs up.
