Premium $19.99 game store to open in iTunes store
Word on the street is Apple is getting ready to release a new section to the app store. This area of games will only be open to big name game developers and not availble to all the smaller developers out there now.
I have mixed reactions about this, I would love to see really nice games for the iPhone, however some of the games out now like Real Soccer 09 and SlotZ Racer are pretty darn good and rival anything I have played on my PSP

$19.99 games for the iPhone would have to be breathtaking in order to sell. What I think will happen is companies like EA Sports need to make more money on their games and this very well could be the reason Need For Speed has not been released yet. But I honestly have to tell you every reacing game I have played and reviewed for the iPhone destroys the PSP version of Need For Speed.
This is all rumor at this point, but the rumors are very strong and this could be released sometime before the Apple Developers conference in June.

Mint.com iPhone app review
Money; we all love it, we all need it, we all want it, we all spend it and some save it. But one thing is for sure; we need to learn how to manage it. That’s where Mint.com comes in. Mint is a nice app; you simply add all your accounts including bank accounts, car payments, credit cards and what ever other money you send out or save.
What Mint.com does is it allows you to manage your money, accounts and budgets. What I love about Mint is it allows me to manage a budget as well as find better rates on credit cards I have.
Mint just got better by adding their new iPhone app, it works with your online account and keeps everything in sync. The most powerful features for me are keeping an update on my checking account and reminding me when my bills are due.
Graphically it’s awesome, a lot of thought and work went into both the app and the website. The Mint.com iPhone app is one of those apps I just can’t live without.
We give it an easy 5 thumbs up.

The iPhone is the best and will always be the best
I have to laugh when I hear people say the iPhone killer. Lets face it there is nothing out now or anything coming out in the near future that will ever take down the iPhone. The iPhone has changed the face of the cell phone industry, it has created a whole new type of cell phone. No other company has or ever will change that. Microsoft tried for years to create cell phones (they call them smart phones) and anyone who has ever owned one knows they are dumb phones. Palm is dead in the water; I mean look at the new Palm Pre; kind of cool right, well it’s another copy of the iPhone.
Then there is Blackberry a company who has a huge identity crisis. I mean they have catered to the corporate drones for years and now they want to be cool so their answer to new technology is a copy of the iPhones technology.
Next in line is the Google phone. I mean what a joke, I laugh when I see people walking around with that over sized ugly as heck phone. No cool factor in that and the Android operating system is all over the place.
Let’s face it there is only one iPhone and only one Apple, and as long as Apple continues to create such great products no one will take them down.

Ihandy level iphone app review
How often do you find yourself in a situation where you need a level to figure out if something is straight or not?
Well you may not remember at this paticular time, but I can remember many times finding myself without a level. Well a new iPhone app resolves that problem. It’s called iHandy Level and it’s pretty darn cool. Graphically it’s beautiful, functionally it works like a charm. Just hold the edge of your iPhone or ipod touch to the area you want to check and just like a regular level the little bubble moves to indicate if the area is straight or not. Making use of the iPhones accelorometer the level flips in vertical or horizontal mode.
iHandy Level is cool little app and if not used for real work it will be one of those apps that you demo to show just how cool the iPhone or iPod touch is.
I’m giving iHandy Level 4 thumbs up.
